Discussion with Non-Muslim 8

Non-Muslim: My personal definition of God is one who has the ability to create and transcend the laws of nature.

AbdulAziz: Then why you guys are putting him under the law and test him with the laws of nature? If for example I created a bag and I put some ants inside that bag, that doesn’t mean I forced myself into that bag.

Non-Muslim: AbdulAziz suffers from conflict.

AbdulAziz: An assumption…

Non-Muslim: If he was 100% convinced of Allah's existence, he wouldn't be here. He hasn't see any real proof either. All he has ever been told is that Allah exists, but it is in direct conflict with his experiences. But deep down he is unsure.

AbdulAziz: That’s totally wrong, I have not even 0.0000000000000001% doubt of Allah’s existence, I’ve known Allah through reason not blindly following what people or the media trying to tell me. In fact it’s the opposite, usually most atheists deep down in their hearts they can’t deny the existence of Almighty God, they may not believe in his existence but deep in their heart they know they can’t deny his existence, Allah said in the Quran about such people:

But when Our Signs came to them, that should have opened their eyes, they said: "This is sorcery manifest!" and they rejected those Signs in iniquity and arrogance, though their souls were convinced thereof: so see what was the end of those who acted corruptly!
Holy Quran (Chapter 27 Verses 13 To 14)

The only reason I am here not because I am asking something for return from you guys, the only reason I am here is to give you the maximum help I can give you because I know the result of your denial to the existence of God. I can easily go post in Muslim Arabic forums, I have thousands of friends, I can tweet all time on Twitter, Facebook…etc but it’s because I really believe you guys are misguided and since God already guided me to know the truth, It’s my job to guide others to let them realize God exists, it’s really because I care about you guys I am here, otherwise I wouldn’t waste minutes around here when I am insulted by most of you. Imagine if you saw your son holding a knife, would you just ignore him and let him play with the knife or you would do your best to take that knife and save your son from hurting himself! This is what I am doing even though I might fail but at least am trying my best for your sake.

Non-Muslim: I think the big problem is that he tells us God is unknowable yet describes him with human words.

AbdulAziz:  I explained it to you before but I will explain it again, when we say God can see what you usually do is that you compare your vision or the livings being vision with God’s vision, that’s what we refuse, God can see, we can see, animals can see, but each one of us can see in their own way, I have hands and some animals have hands too, but are our hands the same!? Same thing with God, when we give God names and qualities we approve the meaning but we don’t approve how or compare it with the creation. Hope you understand what I am trying to say

Non-Muslim: If you're a teacher and the students don't get what you're trying to teach then it isn't a problem with the students, it's because you're a crappy teacher

AbdulAziz: Nope that’s not the only option, because sometimes the teacher teaches the basics and fundamentals but the students are not listening nor they have the intention to listen. Even our Prophet Mohammed (Peace Be Upon Him) when he was teaching the unbelievers the basic things they wouldn’t listen to him and would always try to find excuses, that’s maybe why Allah said in the Quran:
))وَمَثَلُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا كَمَثَلِ الَّذِي يَنْعِقُ بِمَا لَا يَسْمَعُ إِلَّا دُعَاءً وَنِدَاءً صُمٌّ بُكْمٌ عُمْيٌ فَهُمْ لَا يَعْقِلُونَ((
سورة البقرة الآية 171
“The parable of those who reject Faith is as if one were to shout like a goat- herd, to things that listen to nothing but calls and cries: Deaf, dumb, and blind, they are void of wisdom.”

Holy Quran (Chapter 02 Verse 171)

If you really wish to learn regardless of how bad is the teacher you would do your best to learn. If you are having exam in the few next days, and the teacher gave you slides and articles to read, he failed to explain the slides, articles…etc you shouldn’t give up just because the teacher failed and was bad, you would hold the papers yourself and read so you can answer in the upcoming exam.

Unknown: Abdul I believe in God but am scared to die  Why?!?!

AbdulAziz: I guess most of us hate death which is natural, but to answer your question I will try to make it short, we might discuss this later. The reason some of us are scared to die because all things that we cherish will be gone, we are 100% sure we will lose them which causes a great pain. We hate death because of the great attachment we have to this world, and the little faith we have about what God have prepared for us in the next life. For us at least Muslims, even though we might hate death but what eases our souls is the faith we have in God’s words. He promised us he will reward us if we obeyed him, he even said the life we will have will not be compared to this life, it’s as if a drop of water compared to the sea. I pray God have mercy on you and that God removes this fear from your heart

Non-Muslim: That fear of God is powerful. It makes men refuse to question God's existence. You won't even let it into your head.

AbdulAziz: It’s not we refuse to question God’s existence it’s because we have no doubt about his existence, even the pagans, at the time of Mohammed peace be upon him, had no doubt that Allah existed but what they also believed that stones were his partners that worth to be worshipped along with Allah. If you really read about Islam and the Holy Quran you would realize the focus on God’s names, attributes, qualities and different types of proofs of his existence, wisdom…etc in Islam there is nothing like I am God without proofs.

Non-Muslim: I could find a Jew just as convinced of Jehovah's existence. Or a Hindu convinced Shiva, Vishnu, Krishna and Ganesha are the true Gods. Or people that subscribe to Jehovah, Buddah, aliens, atheism, feng shui, witchcraft, voodoo or Waheguru. Most of you will be wrong. Why are you so much smarter than everyone else?

AbdulAziz: It’s simply because all of their self-believed Gods failed to pass the test of God, I mean it’s only the Allah that can be proved by logic and reason as the only Perfect God. It’s true there are many false Gods claimed to be God but are they worthy to be worshipped by humans!? Even if you said they are worthy, Muslims will always have the superior God, the God who is above all other claimed false Gods. For example I can claim that I am God and you have perfect faith that I am your God, but we both know I don’t have the qualities of a Perfect God who is worth to be worshipped. I am a human like you, I need food, drink, air to live but Allah doesn’t need any of the things I mentioned. Logically a human when he is in danger of being attacked by 5 people, and he have two options only, one to ask help from weak person and the second option to ask help from strong option, who you will select to help you? Without a doubt you will ask help from the second. This is case for us Muslims, we realized there are many who claimed to be Gods but none of them have the perfect qualities, it’s only Allah having the greatest attributes, that’s why we worship Allah alone.

Some are legends some are mere stories that are all around...
All twisted and curved like a round...

They are all fed in minds of people with strong hold...
And make some places appear so cold...

The truth in the end finally triumphs over all...
Rather than being artificial like a mere plastic doll...

Truth is so strong that it conquers everything...
Rather than leading to weird something...

People’s mind has to be fed with this truth in their mind...
Because myths are always one of a kind...

But truth is the thing that lasts in the end...
Giving everything that final bend...

  1. I just found your blog. This is very helpful. I've always wanted to learn how to make da3wa and be able to convince people in a polite way without sounding like "I'm right and you're wrong". Very interesting blog. I'll start reading the rest of your posts :)

  3. Brother AbdulAziz

    Assalam-o-Alaikum

Its better to advise the above person to contact some Hindu or Budh to inquire about the names they call to be Gods. For you is better to remain focussed on providing proofs about the existence of Allah(SWT). If you continue your efforts this way, then you will succeed one day in providing a logical proof. That day a person with accepting heart will accept the truth of your stance that is Islam, while a stubborn heart will only be reduced spell bound dumb. On the other hand, you will continue your sincere discussion until the other person will recieve a spark in his mind from Allah(SWT) about the truth of Islam, This spark will lead the accepting heart to accept the truth, while the stubborn heart will be even more stubborn and will only try to lead you astray with his queries.

  4. An addition:

In some cases thoughts of a muslim may not be complying with Islamic thoughts in absolute terms due to lack of knowledge. In this case if any non-muslim maintains a stance which, in comparison to the stance of a muslim, is nearer to truth due to a blessed better understanding of life and humanity, then the muslim should accept, otherwise he should count himself among stubborn hearts. However, the final stance should not be in contradiction to divine guidance by almighty.
